				PH

pH has already been mentioned in relation to ammonia toxicity
and CO2 concentrations as well. In our system we attempt to maintain
pH levels from 7-7.5. This is accomplished by adding sodium carbonate
to reduce CO2. If nothing were done to prevent it the system would
eventually become acid. pH should not be adjusted more than .5
units per day. It would save money to use agricultural sodium
bicarbonate simply be aware it is not 100% pure, when calculating
				amounts to be added.
